They're holding a testimonial dinner in his honor right now. He's there and has apparently gained weight, but this was a hard week for him.

I love following this thread because it speaks so clearly of the power of prayer.
I only wish I was established in a church somewhere because I would be more than happy to have him as a pastor.

We visited him this morning. The latest MRI shows some "enhancement" in the front of his brain. The doctor isn't sure what that means. The blood clot runs the whole length of his left leg and should have killed him by now, yet he lives. Meanwhile the church is being torn apart by the transition. The committee seeking a replacement has meetings every week lasting up to 6 hours and has yet to interview a candidate.
