I think the point to see here is that once again, a Marxist will trot out the term "Tea Partier" as an epithet to use against anyone be they christian, conservative, or libertarian who differs from the "progressive/socialist" Democratic party orthodoxy....in this case, someone who attempts to discredit a whole group based on claims that some receive their "news and information" from forwarded emails....

and yet somehow believes that Reddit, Daily Kos, Huffington Post, MSNBC, CNBC are somehow "credible" sources of impartial facts.....

Huff Po is one of the most biased liberal sources even for me. Reddit is internet and everybody knows just how unreliable the internet is. The others are up and down not always one way or another.

On the other side of course sits Breitbart totally right wing, and Infowars is off the chart conspiracy theory, neither of them is worth even reading much less offer them as a source for anything but fish wrapping. Internet trolls use those two just to poke others into reacting to BS.

But then considering Trump as a legitimate source for anything is preposterous too. For Trump truth is fungible.

There are many legitimate sources within the larger group of media companies that sit somewhere in between.

none of those are centrist (objective) - anymore than your beloved Faux"news".

Reddit is not a news source BTW - its Usenet part two (web-based Usenet)..........minus the Binaries....so not as useful/valuable.

With the death of valid Journalism in America - due to 1. Media Consolidation (Thanks Clinton) 2. Collapse of revenue for all media in the internet ago (so no money for investigative journalism - death to the 4th estate) 3. repeal of the Fairness Doctrine (thanks Reagan!)

result is - there is no credible source for objective news here in America anymore.

you have to go to BBC or Reuters now for real news.

the rest is partisan infotainment and "truthiness"........(crap)

    what about it?

its liberal biased. but professional. similar to Washington Post.

    -----------

similar to The Independant - which is conservative bias, but also professional.

------- as long as you understand the biases, you can read both sides to try to find the objective news.

but that is more work than I'd like.

I'd prefer an honest neutral source which is becoming harder and harder to find ;-(.

finding quality journalism is getting harder and harder to find.

Wshington post, Guardian, Independent, BBC, Reuters is all that remains.

NYT lost its creed with the Blair scandel 12 yrs ago and is just a rag today.

BBC is lost much quality since it went along with the other Blair in the run up to Iraqnam (played the corporate shill).

--------inside the US there really is nothing of real quality outside of Wash Post and it is clearly politically liberal in outlook.
there may be an honest and smart conservative "national review"???? - i've not checked them out much)...........but don't know of one offhand.

    there is not objective source.

I do like PBS Newshour - but suspect it may be on the liberal side.

So, If you dont like the new is must be biased? I would suggest that life itself is liberal. That the entire idea of conservatism is a fight against the inevitable.
