A chronological study of the books of Ezra and Nehemiah is beginning. Are you interested? We will be using KJV as a common bible. (No, I am not a KJV only person.)
It will require: thinking according to what scripture says; logical thinking; a willingness to learn.
Questions and discussion of the subject matter are fine, but argument and debate is not allowed. (See the Study Group Rules sticky post).
Please do not get off track. Keep to the subject at hand. Thanks.
Most theological seminaries and study bibles treat Ezra and Nehemiah as 2 books. Not so in Jewish thought or scholarship. As students, we will handle them as one.
We are going to look at things logically and with common sense. Pre-conceived concepts and teachings should be 'left-at-the-door'.
If God's Word excites you, if learning is a passion, and if your heart burns within you as the Scripture is opened to you, then you are a true Biblical student.
This could be interesting but the thread seems to have gone silent. I keep checking.
