The Bible book of Joel, written during the ninth century B.C.E., describes a plague of insects, including locusts, that is similar to the one that John sees. (Joel 2:1-11,*25) It was to cause much discomfort for apostate Israel but would also result in individual Jews’ repenting and returning to Jehovah’s favor. (Joel 2:6, 12-14)

and it was the same in our days, apostate christendom was really having some discomfort when that locust army made know christendoms falsehood in those really good watchtower mags, yes those locusts left some mags behind them ,and CHRISTENDOMS CLERGY were really stung by those mags , BUT NO WORRIES ,INDIVIDUALS repented and moved on to the truth instead

    May,

So how does one be harmless as a dove but at the same time go around stinging, poisoning, and tormenting people?

    imagesCAY18RZT.jpg
Matthew 10:16"Behold I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: Be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves."

Phil 2 : 15"That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;"

Heb 7:26 : "For such an High Priest became us, Who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;"

    harmless(Heb7:26)Strong's 172 Original Word: ἄκακος
    Transliteration: akakos
    Phonetic Spelling: (ak'-ak-os)
    Short Definition: harmless
From a (as a negative particle) and kakos; not bad, i.e. (objectively) innocent or (subjectively) unsuspecting -- harmless, simple. _________________---------

It is not random to me, for I have reasons for posting theses passages.

The common theme is desolation. Locusts make things desolate.

Satan is the desolator. Locusts(fallen angels) do the work of Satan. I am convinced of this. If I am wrong and proven through scripture then I will concede. But that hasn't happened yet. Satan is death/Abaddon is death. In my mind they are one in the same.

All of what I have posted is related. In that it is all prophecy of the end-times, and it ALL must fit together exactly, like a key; and it does fit together. It is very simple, but very complex at the same time. Achieving balance between the two is a difficult task for me, but I am improving slowly. Or at least trying to improve.

It fits together pretty well in my mind, although I do not know everything there is to know, I feel that I have a good sense to dig in and get to the subject of a verse by looking at the chapter as a whole and then relook at the verse in context of the chapter.

I post entire chapter or portions because I feel that in order to stay on the subject one must read not just single verses, but entire chapters line by line, and entire books chapter by chapter. That is how I have been taught to study, and that is how I try to study.
    You are getting really good....
There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out

I am beginning to believe you are right that army is not a Christian army.

But it was definitely God's Army:

Joel 2:25 *And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.

Joel 2:20"And I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land that is desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things."

Well apparently God will drive this army out at which time they will leave behind them(spiritually) an ill stench that this army gives off. This army stinks. Because it is Satan, his angelic locusts and their human followers. Do you think that Christ and the angels will carry a stench with them when they return? He is coming to remove the stench and those who are making it. This northern army carries with it a putrid stink of sickness and death and decompostion. Satan is death. This army stinks of the Devil and his filthiness.

Great in 2:20 isn't speaking of good. It is speaking of great evil.

    ---------------------------------------------------

    great (Joel2:20)Original Word: גָּדַל
    Transliteration: gadal
    Phonetic Spelling: (gaw-dal')
    Short Definition: advance
advance, boast, bring up, exceed, excellent, become, do, give,
A primitive root; properly, to twist (compare gdil), i.e. To be (causatively make) large (in various senses, as in body, mind, estate or honor, also in pride) -- advance, boast, bring up, exceed, excellent, be(-come, do, give, make, wax), great(-er, come to...estate, + things), grow(up),increase, lift up, magnify(-ifical), be much set by, nourish (up), pass, promote, proudly (spoken), tower

    ill savour(Joel 2:20)Original Word: צַחֲנַת
    Transliteration: tsachanah
Phonetic Spelling: (tsakh-an-aw')-reminds me of sickener or suck-and-gnaw(which is what locusts do)
    Short Definition: ill savour

From an unused root meaning to putrefy; stench -- ill savour.

    deifinitions for putrid:
of or relating to or attended by putrefaction; "putrid decomposition"
in an advanced state of decomposition and having a foul odor; "horrible like raw and putrid flesh"- Somerset Maugham
morally corrupt or evil; "the putrid atmosphere of the court"
    -----------------------------------------------------

We know that Satan as the desolator(book of Daniel) will twist the truth and magnify proudly himself above Christ claiming to be Christ. And this army that makes desolate is his army. Satan is the desolator. Locusts make desolate. Locusts are a plague that damage the flock.

Jesus was harmless ,but he was not slow in making known about blind guides , . Jesus even called those religious leaders in his day people who looked good on the outside but inside they were full of bad things , and it has been the same with CHRISTENDOM, they may have claimed to represent the God of the bible, but their teachings were not right , they were full of contamination such as HELLFIRE, TRINITY, ECT ECT

And JEHOVAHS WITNESSES did just the same as JESUS by exposing those wrong teachings , in those nice mags that they left behind .

Luke 10:19:"'Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing by any means shall hurt you.
20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.'"

Acts28 : 3 :"And when Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks, and laid them on the fire, there came a viper out of the heat, and fastened on his hand. 4 And when the barbarians saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, 'No doubt this man is a murderer, whom though he has escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.' 5 And he shook off the beast into the fire, and felt no harm."

The great pain caused by a scorpion’s sting is noted at Revelation 9:3, 5,*10, where symbolic locusts are described as having “the same authority as the scorpions of the earth” and as having the capability of tormenting men just as “a scorpion when it strikes a man.”

revelation9:10,*19. The authoritative Bible-based statements in the publications of “the faithful and discreet slave” contain a stinging message. (Matt. 24:45)
This message corresponds to the locusts’ tails that have “stings like scorpions” and the horses of a cavalry, whose “tails are like serpents.” Why? Because these publications warn of the “day of [Jehovah’s] vengeance.” (Isa. 61:2)
