That is why I said he should have posted that in the thread on Christians participating in carnal warfare.
I agree that Sibbechai defeats himself a bit by adding too much non-related or vaguely related content to his responses. He gives rise not only to added confusion in doing this but also to providing that much more to debate.
Sibbechai is not as far off base as his cluttering the picture would at times make it seem. But we all do that and we all are learning to speak more effectively.
This is true. Mattathias ignores me on this forum. Instigated by one of the other posters Mattathias was persuaded to treat me "as dust to be shaken of his feet". (A misplaced application of Mat. 10:14/Lu 9:5) Why? The reason he mentioned: for not accepting his interpretation in regard of whom will be kings in the kingdom of God.
This is what happened:

As we had some extensive, friendly, pleasant and respectful conversations on this forum before that time, I expected Mat just needed some time to cool off. But he insisted.
Of course I respect his decision, but it comes across rather weird to me. After all, this is a Bible discussion forum. I actually sincerely attempted to restore good relations with him privately, but he choose to ignore those attempts as well.
I still hope that maybe one day Mattathias will grow over this and reconsiders his approach to me, but I will not hold my breath! Anyway, I don't take it personally.
