QUOTE=james214;1335575The only reasonable and logical conclusion is that man does not have a deathless soul.

Perhaps that's why the Scripture NEVER even mentions a deathless soul but instead tells us souls die. Ya think.

In order to partake of deathlessness one has to be granted it by being raised from the dead.
Ya think you got it wrong. . .for human immortal spirits, see Heb 12:23, above.

There is no logical contradiction between the NT human immortal spirit and eternal death
(i.e., the second death, which is everlasting torment).

The only contradiction is between the NT and your contra-NT theology.

And I repeat: "you really don't understand the NT meaning of eternal life and eternal death (the second death)."

And I repeat: eternal death = second death = lake of fire (Rev 20:14, 6), which fire is everlasting (Mk 9:44, 48; Mt 26:46) and
where the damned suffer everlasting torment (Rev 20:10; Lk 16:23-24).

And I repeat: You got some Bible studyin' to do. . .

The word on the street is that james214 thinks he "buried" you regarding the Trinity. . .

QUOTE=james214;1335141]]The fact is, when I got into the same argument with the Trinitarian who called himself "ChurchAuthority", he lost, and then changed his name to "Agape".
FWIW, for future reference you may be interested in his own "burial" on the Trinity.

QUOTE=james214;1335523Can a deathless soul be dead?

    By definition, absolutely not!
Your denial of the NT human immortal spirit is showing (Lk 23:46; Ac 7:59, 56; Heb 12:23--spirits of righteous men--in the church of the firstborn, heirs together with Christ, the supreme firstborn and "heir of all things"--such as Abel, Noah, Abraham, etc., who were righteous because their faith was credited to them as righteousness, Ro 4:3 Ge 15:6).
