God is spirit in body and in his soul, all powers reside in him ,he is the absolute power, but he also is the absolute truth, and love ,and holiness,

his only begotten son is the image of his father and so has the same qualities as his father ,the son is the one that came down to us to give his flesh body and pour out the life (blood) out of it for us ,and showed us the way to the grace of his father ;the free gift
  2. When I Say…”I am a Christian”

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not shouting “I am saved”
    I’m whispering “I get lost!”
“That is why I chose this way.”

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
I don’t speak of this with pride.
    I’m confessing that I stumble
and need someone to be my guide.

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not trying to be strong.
    I’m professing that I’m weak
and pray for strength to carry on.

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
    I’m not bragging of success.
    I’m admitting I have failed
and cannot ever pay the debt.

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
I’m not claiming to be perfect,
    my flaws are too visible
but God believes I’m worth it.

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
I still feel the sting of pain
I have my share of heartaches
which is why I seek His name.

    When I say…”I am a Christian”
I do not wish to judge.
    I have no authority.
    I only know I’m loved.

The Shameful Social Gospel Part #1

by JIRAH on 08-03-2014 at 08:35 AM
"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth." Romans:1:

For various reasons, Christians of different sorts have tinkered with "the gospel of Christ" as though it needed adjustments. Not major alterations, most will tell you, but just some minor tweaking here and there. The changes often begin by one's declaring that there is no real change involved, simply a shift in emphasis. Yet,

The Shameful Social Gospel

by JIRAH on 08-03-2014 at 08:29 AM
Part #2

Warren has joined the advisory board of Faith Foundation, established by former British prime minister and recent Roman Catholic convert Tony Blair. The Foundation's goal is to further understanding and cooperation among the six leading faiths: Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Buddhist, Sikh, and Jewish. How does the Cross fit into this ecumenical gathering? It doesn't. Critical to achieving that ecumenical goal is the elimination of the problem of exclusive religions, a concern

Could Calvinism be a stumbling block to the spread of the gospel of Christ?

by JIRAH on 07-27-2014 at 01:28 PM
Calvinism is the term applied to a belief in a high view of the sovereignty of God, especially as it relates to salvation. Calvinists are convinced the Bible teaches that man is sinfully corrupt throughout his entire being and cannot make himself acceptable to God through any amount of effort of his own. Calvinists hold that in eternity past God chose out some among mankind for His own. In the course of time, God grants repentance and faith to His elect so that they might be awakened to their

God’s Anger...To MUCH FOR YOU..?

by JIRAH on 07-23-2014 at 11:55 AM
While it is true that God is loving (Romans 8:39), merciful (Psalm 57:2-3), and willing to offer His grace to all (Titus 2:11), one striking characteristic of the Almighty is His fierce anger. The most common Hebrew term for anger is ’ap, which can be used to denote either divine or human anger (Genesis 27:45; Numbers 11:1, et al.). The term refers to “nostril,” which the ancients thought to be the locale of anger (Harrison, 1979, 1:127), while the word ’anap (which is used exclusively to

The Omnipotence of God..

by JIRAH on 07-23-2014 at 11:08 AM
God is the only being Who possesses omnipotence. In the Oxford English Dictionary, “omnipotence” is defined as “all-powerfulness,” or “almightiness.” In other words, when God wants something to be done, it is done. God has all power in heaven and on Earth (Matthew 28:18), so unlike the limited power of humans, which is constrained by time, space, and force, God’s capabilities are limited only by His own character (see Miller, 2003). Paul wrote of God’s omnipotence in the sense that He is “above
