It agreed wholeheartedly with my position on AA, which to my mind is simply “Christianity-lite”, non-scientific and generally (though not universally) ineffectual. However, it also discusses some science-based solutions that are effectual, the primary one of which I had never heard is Naltrexone, which if you or a loved one is misusing drugs or alcohol may offer a solution.

By the way, I quit drink au naturale because it became more burden than burden-relief.

At any rate, the article is about 10 pages and a good read but the bottom line is that even if you don’t read the article I encourage you to research Naltrexone:
