This verse is misunderstood by most due to it being taking it out of context. It is a letter. It must be read in context to the surrounding text and not contradict it or whatever the writer has written elsewhere.

Galatians is not speaking about Circumcision though it is mentioned, it is speaking about the Law in general; the Pentateuch and all that is entailed, which would include the Decalogue; the Ten Commandments.
All of which are done away with because of the Gift of GOD through Christ; Faith.
